THE TREATMENT MORE HOMEOWNERS TRUST

Your home is probably your biggest investment. Without effective termite control, it can turn into your biggest expense. That's why more homeowners rely on Termidor Termiticide than any other liquid termite treatment. It's the #1 liquid termiticide in the country and stops termites feeding on contact, instantly preventing further damage to your home. Depending on the level of exposure, Termidor kills termites within a few minutes to a few days. Odorless and colorless, you'll hardly know its there. But rest assured no other termiticide on the market works faster. And because Termidor is brought to you by the Bayer Corporation, you know you can trust it to protect the health of your home.

FROM THEIR HOME TO YOURS!

Termites cause more than a billion dollars in damage to American homes a year. That's more than fires, storms, and earthquakes combined. Worker termites do the damage. They tunnel through the soil from their colony to your home. Sometimes you can see their pencil-thin mud tubes on foundation walls. But they are more than likely to be hidden from view, running through hollow blocks or gaps around pipes. Most people do not know that they have termites until extensive damage has been done.

A full-blown colony of termites can eat several pounds of wood in your home every week. They feed 24 hours a day and leave a chemical trail for more termites to follow.

Chances are you will never see a worker termite. But you might see another member of the colony called a "swarmer" or "alate". These are winged reproductive termites that ride the wind currents in spring or fall to establish a new colony. Swarming usually lasts less than an hour, so you may never see it. But if swarmers emerge from their tunnels indoors, you might find their shed wings on windowsills or floors. If you do, show them to your pest management professional for proper identification.

IT TAKES A PRO TO SPOT TERMITES
IT TAKES Termidor TO STOP THEM

Getting rid of termites is not a job for the do-it-yourselfer. It takes a trained eye to see signs of termite activity, plus specialized knowledge and equipment to treat your home effectively.

Your pest management professional will give your home thorough inspection, point out any areas that need attention (e.g., small cracks, pluming leaks, poor ventilation) and show you what's involved in treatment.

Digging a narrow trench along your foundation is normally required. Then Termidor is sprayed in the trench, where it spreads through the soil and bonds to it as the solution dries. To endure complete protection, Termidor may also be used as foam to treat hard-to-reach areas such as voids in hollow blocks. Generally, the treatment process takes less than a day and you can stay in your home while the work is being done.

THE FIRST STEPS IN TAKING CONTROL ARE THE ONES YOU TAKE

You can make your home less attractive to termites by taking a few simple precautions.
